Many larger send this traffic knowing full well that the visitors will not stay more than 1 page and come back to their site. This results is smaller sites sending higher quality traffic and receiving lower-quality traffic in return. Some high traffic sites make up for this by sending more traffic, but even at a 2 to 1 or 3 to 1 ratio, your still losing out. Your sending traffic that could be a loyal returning visitor to their sites while your receivin traffic that won't stay more than 1 page on your site.
When trading traffic with any site, you should always trade evenly with framed traffic for framed traffic and unframed traffic for unframed traffic.
